Description

Authorizing the Council's Committee on Commerce and Economic Development to hold public hearings on proposals and strategies for a community revitalization and infrastructure renewal program for Philadelphia's neighborhoods including, but not limited to: infrastructure repair, replacement and reconstruction; street tree maintenance, removal and planting; street lighting repairs and enhancements; housing preservation, rehabilitation and homeownership initiatives; maintenance and re-use of vacant lots; commercial corridor improvements; and, curb and sidewalk repair and replacement, and to discuss and analyze funding options, implementation methods and performance measures for such a community revitalization and infrastructure renewal program.
