Description

Transmitting a bill authorizing the Director of Commerce and the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of The City of Philadelphia (the "City"), to execute and deliver a Non-Disturbance Agreement with The Phillies, a Pennsylvania limited partnership (the "Phillies") and other parties which may accept leasehold mortgages granted by the Phillies upon its leasehold interests in certain parcels of land owned by the City, and ratifying pursuant to prior authorization the execution and delivery by the Director of Commerce and the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, of certain other Non-Disturbance Agreements with certain parties, including but not limited to the Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles Limited Partnership, a Delaware limited partnership (the "Eagles"), and other parties which may accept leasehold mortgages granted by the Phillies and the Eagles upon their respective leasehold interests in certain parcels of land owned by the City, all in connection with the development, financing, construction and operation of a new baseball park by the Phillies and a new football stadium by the Eagles as authorized by City Council Bills 000722-A and 000721-A; and authorizing approval of all of the terms of the aforementioned Non-Disturbance Agreements and other documents and amendments related thereto by the City Solicitor.
